Nuthin’ but Luv for Ya

Standard

Valentine’s Day is more than a week away, but I am already excited about celebrating… without the stuffed animals!  I’ve never been a fan of something that looks a little creepy and just stares at me from my bed.  So, I move them to the closet, then eventually they find a nice home at Goodwill.  *shudder*

Anywho, I have seen two great deals to help you celebrate the lovely holiday.

Gigi’s Cupcakes offers two deals – the Lots of Love box has 6 cupcakes for $15.99, and the Love Box has 4 cupcakes for $10.99.  These aren’t just any ol’ cupcakes, either.  These are the most adorable cupcakes with colors and shapes that Cupid would approve of.  And Gigi’s makes it easy – you can place your order ahead of time!

Stein Mart has the cutest costume jewelry to help spread the love.  And for $7.99 each, you can still afford the most important of all gifts – wine and chocolate.  (Let me be the first to spread the love by thanking Trader Joe’s for their Two-Buck Chuck.)

Remember to let the important people in your life know how much they mean to you… on Valentine’s Day and everyday.

Goodlawdberry’s

Standard

It’s that time of year again!  No, not decorating the tree.  No, not wrapping gifts.  And no, not watching “Elf” for the fifty eleventh time (although it is totally worth it!)

Goodberry’s is once again offering the online purchase of a $50 gift card for only $25, just in time for the holidays!!  Who wouldn’t love this stocking stuffer?  (I’m thinking about stuffing it in my own!)  This offer is only good from now through midnight on December 16.  Get yours at www.goodberrys.com.  And while you are waiting patiently for the delivery, you can drool over which flavor you’ll sample first:

Now, go watch “Elf” for the fifty twelfth time!

OPI Think I’m in Love!

Standard

I am suuuuuper excited!  After ABK told me about the new Muppet OPI nail polish line, I saw the lovely Rainbow Connection in the latest Ulta circular.  I immediately errupted in a childish tantrum, screaming and yelling and had Andrew to point out what polish on the specific page would be my polish of choice.  He nailed it.  Luckily, one of my sweet co-workers has a Davidson’s card, which allows for awesome discounts.  Today, Donna purchased Rainbow Connection and Kyoto Pearl for me – for half price!  Kyoto Pearl is not an offspring of the Muppet line, but will look gorgeous during the winter season!

Where My Dogs At?

Standard

Whole Foods has an awesome deal for you and seven friends.  This $15 combo includes Nature’s Rancher beef hot dogs (8 pack), 8 hot dog buns (white or wheat), beef chili (24 ounces), and a 12 pack of 365 sodas (assorted flavors).  Sounds like a good reason to invite friends over to watch NCSU stomp the Tarheels!  I’ll bring the veggie dogs…  🙂

Jar-O’-Lanterns

Standard

I was thumbing through the October issue of “Southern Living” when I noticed the most adorable idea for Halloween:  Jar-o’-Lanterns.  Paint jars various shades of orange (using acrylic paint), add facial features with permanent marker, and let a battery-powered LED light bring them to life!
